I really wanted to do better with whole raw foods…
I don’t know how you guys eat those meal bars (wasn’t big on them, personally)

Of course, what’s good for one??? You know…

Oh, I am doing my exercises in front of the TV tonight
(Ch7 of course)

YOU’RE A GREAT WEIGHT, AND OH MY GOSH YOU ARE SO PRETTY. YOU ARE NOT TOO MADE UP, YOU DO IT JUST RIGHT!!!! I LOVE TO WATCH YOU AND JACK, YOU ARE BOTH COOL:) OH, I WAS A BLONDE FOR 10 YEARS OR SO, AFTER SEEING HOW BEAUTIFUL A BRUNETTE IS(YOU OF COURSE) I DECIDED TO GO BACK TO A BRUNETTE. NOW I LOOK YOUNGER AND FEEL YOUNGER. HOW TALL ARE YOU? I THINK YOU’RE THE PERFECT WEIGHT AND YOU CERTAINLY DON’T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR WEIGHT.  :)  KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

Joy,
I used to highlight mine… and I’m toning that down. Funny how the “grass is always greener” eh?

I’m not so worried about wieght… I want to get back to “EATING GOOD”
Non-processed
Whole, raw
organic
lowfat
all those terms…
I was doing it and felt better than I ever have, but got busy with work and slipped up a bit.
Thanks for the kind works.

Donna…

I’m 5’3… maybe 5’3 and a half…lol
I can’t and wont endorse a “diet” per say,
I think we have to CHANGE (word of ‘08) our way of eating.
Take a look at my comment to Joy.

One of the biggest differences I made was throwing out the “processed, dead wheat breads” That worked wonderfully for me. If you can’t pronounce it, don’t eat it!
and just moderation…

Hey Donna, Phil and Amy are on the show on the 20th… let’s see what they would tell you???
They will have GREAT first hand experience, and you can catch them each month right here on Your Carolina!!!!
(they are a REAL, sweet couple)

That’s gotta be the best 127 pounds has ever looked on a person.  I’m so jealous !

kimberly | January 10, 2009 at 1:50 pm

Ms Jackie…
Thank you, and after many very active days of my youth, I’d like to say: “Muscle weighs more than fat” but, well… I’m not so sure? I’m really looking for a healthier habit of diet and exercise… toning up. We’ll all have different goals, but we all can help each other stay on track!
Thanks again Ms Jackie!

You guys are taller than me. I am 4’10 and right now weigh 113. I did low carb for a longggggg time and my weight stayed at 98 pounds. I can not do low carb anymore so at the time I am trying to get used to eating carbs and I do count my calories(on good days). I don’t look that much bigger than I did at 98 pounds but my jeans are tight.  Recently, I tried slim fast. I am not knocking it but I can not handle it! I am trying to keep my calories from 1200-1300 and I am using weights and a stretchy band when I exercise.
Kimberly, I watched you and Jack today-love watching you guys!

kimberly | January 12, 2009 at 3:40 pm

I LOVE the exercise ball… try that Joy!

I personaly don’t thing the “liquid diets” are any good for you. (So I understand how you feel).

Look at us, 113 is nothing. Heck, I don’t think my weight is that bad. It’s just HOW YOU FEEL, don’t you think! I feel better, when I’m in better shape!

I am just trying to completely change my way of eating, not for a “diet” but for here on out!
Exercise, needs to be a habit…

I’ll get there.

joy | January 14, 2009 at 9:55 am

I’ve been thinking about those balls, see them at walmart all the time. That way you can watch tv and play at the same time. My dogs-(long hair chihuahua and mixed black lab) will have as much fun as I will :)
I think eating healthy is the best and I really don’t like liquid diets at all-they don’t like me either!!!

Kimberly Kelly | January 14, 2009 at 12:20 pm

Joy, you know I’ve already lost some, I’ll have to post it later… gosh darn it…. there is only one way to do it right, and it isn’t the easy way…lol
Let me know how you like the ball

Hey, Kimberly
You look great and I wonder your age (already know your weight). Good luck with the diet. It’s true, healthy eating is the way to go. Something that has helped me to feel satisfied and feel energized when you need that little pick me up is Muscle Milk (Chocoate Light). It’s low in carbs, low sugar, low calorie, vitamin fortified and loaded with protein. Oh, and I love the haircut (who does it) and where do you get (most of)the great jewelry? What’s your favorite clothing store?
