“Girl” cookies ?

Bobby McFerrin will be on the show, with us, LIVE this Friday Morning! He is sooo much more than “Don’t worry, be happy”, though we all love that one, you know. If you are a fan, I’d plan on stopping by Michelin on Main for the show tomorrow.
Jack mentioned Girl Scout cookies in a past blog and yes, our family has already gone through 2 boxes of Caramel Delights and one Thin Mint. Ok, “I” went through the box of Thin Mint (but I digress). I have a great story for you about this… My kids took a lunch to school and in these lunches were some of those prized “girl” scout cookies I mentioned earlier. My 12 year old ate them and during the car ride, she praised the glorious, “girl” scout cookies… to which my 5 year old son declared very gruffly,
“Why did you pack me, “girl” cookies? I’m a boy!”
TRUE story, you can’t make those things up.
I also wanted to say thank you to those of you writing me comments below these blogs… I AM getting them; I’m just not sure why they aren’t posting. Our web-wizard, Kevin is taking care of that now. So please, keep writing and as soon as they are posted, I WILL keep up with you guys there. A special thanks to the person who shared their story about Alzheimer with me… that sounded so familiar!
Lastly, Jack and I got to eat lunch with some of our viewers at “Indigo Joes”. The restaurant is in that new restaurant mecca off Woodruff road; along side the Whole Foods shopping center. WONDERFUL food! They are a sports restaurant (yes they have a bar, but it is non-smoking and very family friendly)… try it as you’re out that way sometime. I’m going to run… see you around town!
