Mr. Russell, I’m ready for my close up…

I will have to admit, I love seeing a celebrity just as much as the next one (I do!)
And with my job, I’ve been given a wonderful excuse to meet some of them.
However, the shy part of Kimberly comes out; in that, unless I’m “working on an interview” I really hate to approach someone like that.
And yes, I do have a shy side! After all, what in the world do they need from me… if I tell the “Great One” Wayne Gretzky that he is indeed great
or that Catherine Bell is gorgeous in real life (and she is!) … face it, they know this.
Still, it is human nature to want to meet these successful people. I venture to say there are many reasons for that.
For some, they are hoping that upon meeting Kurt Russell that he will say, “What in the world have I seen in Goldie all these years, come run away with me”
or that Luke Wilson will say, “You know, I was looking for someone to play opposite me in my next big block bust movie”…
Very little chance of that, but others simply want to meet someone that they actually feel as though they already know.
After all, if you grew up watching these people, they feel like family… though granted, family living far away in Hollywood that I don’t get to see very, uh… never get to see.
Anyway, BMW had their huge celebrity (and yes, CHARITY) golf tournament this past weekend and you guys came out in record numbers this year! So… who did you meet???
