“Sneakin’ back on the radio?”

Happy St Paddy’s day to ya’! Here is the behind the scene of today’s show… first of all we were outside for the entire show for the first time at MoM (Michelin on Main). This is something that you will find us doing more and more of as the weather gets better… so stop by and watch the show (inside or out). Now, the weather looked all sunny, but the wind was horrible and the temperature was much crisper… no colder than it looked. Yet, all of our guest (and crew) were such pros. We had Eileen Ivers on the show; she is THE Celtic violinist from Riverdance! She’ll be at the Peace Center tonight at 7:30. This woman was amazing, both with her talents on the violin and her beautiful attitude.
We had about a thousand people in MoM today (I exaggerate a bit) and through the crowd and playing in the harsh conditions… no complaint; but further still, she stayed around to talk to people and was as grateful to us… as we were for having a ‘name’ such as her, on our show. GO see her tonight, if at all possible!
We had all the wonderful kids doing their Irish step dance (which, if you’re from the south and have never seen before… would be reminiscent of ‘clogging’).
Oh, BIG announcement, you can hear me on the radio again… all 5 minutes a week, but you know, it’s hard to forget your first love, eh? Remember I started in media, on the radio… this is not a cheatin’ story; though it is for a country music station. Our friends at WSSL, you know, Bill & Beth (from morning radio fame and “WSSL Tracks” on CH7) have asked me to stop in and talk about the cool places to be each weekend. So make sure your listening to WSSL at 8am Friday (or each morning)… of course, giving you enough time to switch over to the TV show on channel 7, by 10am!
See you guys around town!
Kimberly
