Each Friday, I rise and shine early and head off to meet our friends at WSSL’s morning show, Bill and Beth. It’s my way of staying in touch with ol’ friends from my radio days (NOTE: I said “ol’ friends” NOT “old friends”... there IS a difference!)
Right after 8 am, we discus what’s going on in the community and some great events to be apart of each weekend, here’s you’re sneak peek at some, we’ll offer more on our, Your Carolina Community Calendar:
Sex in the City opens Friday!
(cue the music)… Yes, even if you didn’t watch the show, it was such a phenomenon that everyone knows the theme, eh? Now, I didn’t watch this religiously, like some; but I did get a call from one of my girlfriends… guess we’re all going to see it.
President Bush is speaking at Furman tomorrow (Saturday). I know, there was a lot of flack on this… but he is our President.
(Personally, I wish we could continue to show respect and then vote as we see accordingly after).
There is a bass tournament tomorrow (Saturday, May 31) at Portman Marina on Lake Hartwell. It will benefit “Our Daily Bread” and “Boy Scout Troop #226”. Weigh-in starts at 3:00 p.m.
I hope you have a great weekend. Jack and I will have the show outside, in downtown Greenville tomorrow morning and we have a singer/song writer on to perform… stop by,
we’ll see you on the show!
