You think gasoline is expensive

Do you know why you can’t see into a package of potatoe chips? Because around half of the inside is air. Check it out.
The manufacturer would prefer you not seeing through the package. You might not buy it. Say, when’s the last time you bought a candy bar that was as long as the wrapper? Check that one out . Are you as mad as I am at the the new soft drink prices. Notice the 20 oz. drinks are now up to $ 1.39, sometimes $1.49. There are 128 oz. in a gallon. That puts soft drinks at $8 to $10 / gallon. You thought gasoline was high. Remember soft drinks are mostly water and not a fossel fuel. I’ve got to have my soda pop.

Cheers,
Jack

Jack,
If you were as much of a cheepskate as I am you would notice such things.
Think about Bottled water $1.29 the same as some sodas.
A gallon of bottle water is about $2 so what do you do.

Me i got a free Water bottle from a promotion.  Fill it with ice & water for about 2 cents.  Fix a sandwich at home
$1.00 fix a sandwich bag of chips twice as much for .... well I haven’t figured that out yet.
But you get the Idea.
Cheep maybe but i was raised by depretion parents, WE lived “better” on with less than most people today.

Take away their Soda and they go Nuts.
