The Supper Swap Girls
Ingredients
1 lb of Bacon, stripes cut into thirds
2 cans of whole Water Chestnuts, halved
1 jar of Uncle Pete’s BBQ sauce, spicy or hickory
Toothpicks (they need to be round without plastic tips)
Instructions
On a large cutting board take a 1/3rd piece of bacon and place a halved Water Chestnut at one end. Tightly roll up and secure the end with a toothpick. Place in a roasting pan. Repeat with the remaining bacon. Place in a preheated 400 degree oven for 330-40 minutes. The bacon should be cooked and crispy. Drain off the excess oil and pour the barbeque sauce over top just until their covered. Put back in the oven for 10 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
