Ingredients
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, pounded to 1/2 inch thickness or thinner if you like…
4 pieces of swiss cheese
4 slices of ham
1/2 cup of butter melted
1 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
toothpicks
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Lay out the pounded chicken breasts on a clean surface. Place a slice of ham and slice of cheese on each piece of chicken.
Roll the chicken up around the cheese and ham and secure with a toothpick. Dip each piece of chicken in melted butter and then into the bread crumbs. Place in a shallow baking dish. Bake for 40 minutes or until chicken is browned and juices run clear….
Sauce for top of cooked Chicken
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Heat over low heat stirring occasionally…
Pour over chicken using 1/4 cup for each piece…..
