Chocolate and Bourbon Pecan Pie

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons bourbon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 (9-inch) frozen pie shell

Instructions

• Preheat oven to 375°F. In an electric mixer, cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, salt, bourbon, and vanilla extract. Mix until blended.
• Spread pecans and chocolate chips in bottom of pie shell. Pour filling over chips and pecans. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until set.
• Serves 6 to 8.
